Mam Dolor Elenany celebrated her 50th birthday last February 19 at Crowne Plaza Hotel. The event was what I would call Star studded – guests from diplomats, well-known Kuwaitis, respected personalities from the Filipino Community in Kuwait, media and other personalities.
There were also simple Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) like myself and a good number of others. For me, Mam Dolor is my “idol” because at a time when I needed some space and positive change in my life, her Al-Alamia International Manpower Services came to my rescue. Mam Dolor is the reason for my expat life here in Kuwait.
From the first time I set foot in this coastal Middle East State and until now, I have never lost contact with Mam Dolor. In this day and age of different gadgets and aggressive global, young, urban professionals, it is a rare find to stay connected with a person who is endowed with good looks, a compassionate heart, a loving family, a keen mind in business and a philanthropic spirit.
Mam Dolor, my deepest sense of gratitude to you cannot be expressed in mere words. God bless you more and please continue being a blessing to others. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Mam Dolor! Though I do not know her personally. Knowing that she made a positive impact in your life is enough proof to know she is a great person.
