When powerful typhoon Sendong swept through and packed fierce winds over the Southern Philippines last December, severe flooding and landslides displaced tens of thousands of people and hundreds died and have gone missing.
The extent of crisis was too much for the government alone to cope hence people from all over extended help along with quite a number of charitable institutions and private companies. One such company was LBC. Working hand in hand with various Filipino Communities all over the world. LBC Express volunteered its cargo services by shipping free of charge to the Philippines thousands of boxes full of goods donated by our fellow Filipinos.
Today, LBC Express, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross, is at the helm again of extending similar service to the people in the Philippines victimized by the recent floods caused by heavy rains which poured intermittently in the past two weeks or so now. The Filipino Community has again been mobilized to donate goods and useful items and will be shipped the soonest time possible.
