A First for an OFW Blogger; Blood Bank

My first blood donation experience and it is more special because I am part of the Filipino community here in Kuwait.

I have been aware of the blood donation campaign since early high school in the Philippines. Now, as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and Filipino Blogger in the State of Kuwait, I was able to have my first encounter with donating blood.

I didn’t mind the needle piercing my skin to my vein or the sting it felt because I knew I was participating in something for a good cause. I know that later, my blood will be able to be someone else’s most especially those who are in dire need of it medically. This is also my personal way of thanking the State of Kuwait and its citizens for being my second home away from home.
