My First Journey begins at UP Diliman

We’re all communicators. That’s what we do everyday, but some of us still love the feel of a pen in the hand as it scribbles through the paper. Others find happiness as the fingers hit the keyboard (just like me) and this is where I feel more at home than any other.

My first speaking engagement. Taken in University of the Philippines Diliman.
My first speaking engagement here in the Philippines. Taken at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City.

For years in Kuwait, I was able to fulfill my community service to fellow OFWs by extending help to the best that I can and making many things possible to reach their potential. I could say that I had the time of my life. I had the privilege as well to become an Emcee to a number of Filipino community events and that enhanced my communication skills.

But to be a professional speaker, one has to start somewhere. You can’t just say, “I’m a speaker” and then here you go. My first speaking engagement here in the Philippines is at iblog: The 12th Philippine Blogging Summit #iblog12 last September 16th. I was one of the panelists of Topic 3: Cybercrime Law: Bloggers and Social Media Users on Hacking, Anonymous Comments and Publishing.

I will never forget Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) Kuwait Chapter as my Toastmaster family.

#iblog12 was held at Malcolm Theater, U.P. College of Law, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

Peace and love to you.
