Authentication of Documents

Most Overseas Filipino Workers request their parents, siblings, relatives, or sometimes even friends to secure necessary documents for them in the Philippines. The main reason is that OFWs are overseas, working and leading busy lives. Once the documents are sent to us, we need to go to the Philippine Embassy for certification.
I recently had my documents attested, and below are some photos taken by me with the following steps;
1. Bring original documents and photocopies of these from the POLO office
2. Obtain the electronic ticket number and wait for your turn
3. Each document costs 7.5 Kuwaiti Dinar (KD)
4. It usually takes a day or two for the document’s release.
Holding your electronic transaction number, please wait for your turn.

There are times when many fellow kabayansare at the Philippine Embassy to have their documents attested and in this case, tyagaan lang po sa pila mga kabayan para makatapos tayo sa ating mga papeles.

    Very helpful information. Many new OFW has this authentication of documents to bear with. Another problem is the long queue applicants must endure while processing this document .

    I can imagine how hard it may be for our OFW’s when it comes to these things. I mean, getting documents authenticated can already be tedious here in the Philippines, what more if you’re abroad.
