The Philippine Embassy located in Faiha, Kuwait has opened its doors to registered OFW voters so they may participate in choosing the next Philippine government leaders. It started on April 09, 2016 at 8 o’clock in the morning until May 09, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.

Seeing familiar faces on the first day of Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) interestingly casting their votes reminded me of the significance and importance of our calling as Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). We may not be spending much time at home and yet, we are very much involved in the process of choosing our country’s next leaders. April 14, 2016 update: Total of 2210 voters here in Kuwait. Fellow OFWs, make time to go to the Philippine Embassy in Faiha so you can choose our home country’s next leaders. Your duty as a Filipino and an OFW, calls.
