10 LESSONS FOR STOCK MARKET BEGINNER

Applicable in any kind of investment

Lesson #1

INVEST ONLY AN AMOUNT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE
Ito ang pinaka – common saying in investing but a lot of us tend to forget because of failure to follow this Lesson). Every time you put money in any investment, always have the mindset of buying something and you lost it already. Ang key attitude here is learn to detach yourself with the money you’ve invested because detachment is one of the secrets of just holding it steady during market crashes.

Lesson #2
STOP CHASING (Fear of Missing out FOMO)
Those who were not constantly reading news feeds and will be late in reacting to the downtrend and when they eventually decided to try trading it on online exchanges they lost more  by reacting late during the last dip and late again when converting back to during the recovery, Masyado ng late.

Lesson #3
MANAGE YOUR EMOTIONS
Isa sa mga na appreciate ko in all my years of investing in different businesses, mainly  the stock market is that I learned to manage my emotions kahit paano natuturuan ka nitong harapin ang mga susunod na pagtaas o pagbagsak. Ang pag iinvest ay walang pinag kaiba sa pag tayo ng isang business , for every problem and crisis there’s always an equal amount of opportunity that is available. When you are emotional, you only see the problem and not the gem of opportunity behind this.

Lesson #4
DON’T INVEST SOMETHING YOU NEED FOR THE SHORT-TERM
Minsan may nakausap ako, gusto mag invest sa Stock Market tapos I withdraw daw niya after a year or two. You should only invest money that you have no plan of using for more than a year or much better you have no plan of using at all. If you invest something that you need for the short-term then you don’t have the advantage of being patient, calm and relax during dips and crashes.

Lesson #5
WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE THERE’S NO CONVICTION
Those who sold off easily and got off  are the people who did not research about the technology and its fundamental use cases. Iba kasi na they simply bought out of hype and eventually sold quickly after taking a loss.

Lesson #6

ALWAYS BE READY, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN
Gayunpaman, maghanda!

Lesson #7
BE BETTER FOR THE NEXT BATTLE

Be ready for next uncertainty.

Lesson #8
BE READY TO LOSE 50% IF YOU WANT TO GAIN 1000%

Lahat naman ng investment may risk. Iyong mindset kailangan mo siyang ihanda.

Lesson #9
BUY AND HOLD
If you are believing in one stock after certain study and all effort to understand their business you can avoid bad trades, less mistake.  You can avoid quick small profit  or early out of fear.

Kailangan matutunan mo ditto na maging kalmado kahit matalo ka o Manalo, iyong kaya mong hawakan ang anxiety mo and at the same time kalmado ka.

Lesson #10
NEVER INVOLVE OTHER  PEOPLE

On Final thoughts, investments is not just about pursuit of money. We should approach investment with learning attitude, money as second and first seek kingdom of God. Any investment must include self discovery and self mastery, treat yourself as lifetime student.
